We didn’t take much time away from TABS, we took some time to work on TABG because we wanted to bring you something while you wait for TABS. Why are you making another game? Shouldn’t you be working on TABS? We spend an enormous amount of lunch breaks and nights playing battle royale games, this is an homage to a genra we love. Last year we made TABZ which is a mix of TABS and DAY-Z. The first year we made Supertruck, a mix between the game Superhot and Clustertruck. We’ve previously combined one of our games with another genre or game. TABG is an April Fools’ joke, we’ve done one every year since 2016. Why are you making a battle royale game?!
Jump onto an island from flying trucks, find a gun and survive and look silly while doing it, find and eliminate all your opponents to win the round! Totally Accurate Battlegrounds was originally made as an April Fools’ parody of the Battle Royal genre and the game Totally Accurate Battle Simulator. It is almost as if the developers tried to make a good game, but then decided to give up on it after a few ugly beta tests.Totally Accurate Battlegrounds is a last-weirdo-standing battle royale game! Plus, the inconsistent bugs are often more frustrating than they are a natural advantage.
The game has bugs that the developers claim help enhance the game, but few of them may be exploited for success, (such as falling through the stairs after being shot). The odd physics include the dynamic way your gun moves as you hold it, and how your character is less of an in situ tank and more like a bag of feathers.
Totally Accurate Battlegrounds asks that you shoot other players and/or destroy them, but there are odd twists, such as being able to put a sniper rifle on your rocket launcher and shoot it 1/4 the way across the huge map. The game derives its comedy from parodying the battle royale genre. Totally Accurate Battlegrounds is a battle royale game where you are placed on an island and have to destroy the other players using weapons and also using the weird physics that the island has.
